Welcome to Western Flies & Guides! Western Flies & Guides is located in Hamilton, MT. We are the largest and most well stocked full service fly shop in the area. At Western Flies & Guides not only do we supply all of your fly fishing needs, we also offer professionally guided fly fishing trips. I hope you will stop in a meet us when you are in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley.
 
My name is Jeff Gray, and I own and operate the fly shop. My passion is fly fishing and guiding. In short, I love being on the river. I was born in Billings, MT, but I first fly fished on the Bighorn River. I was introduced to fly fishing over twenty years ago, and I have been hooked since.
 
When stopping at the fly shop you are likely to run into local fishermen telling their stories (or lies?), tying flies at the fly tying table, and giving (wanted or unwanted) advice on what flies are currently working best on the river.
